Morris Frank changed the world's view about blind people, no small endeavor. In recognition of his pioneering work for the cause of blind people, the State of New Jersey proclaimed Sep. 21st as Morris Frank Day. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Leaders and appointed Colonel by the governor of Tennessee, Henry Horton. In 1979, US Postal Service issued a Commemorative stamp on the Seeing Eye's 50th anniversary.
