Morris Frank, a blind man with a vision of making life better for the disabled, paved the way for millions of blind people by providing an institution which trained service dogs. He opened the doors of opportunity by giving the blind not only a faithful friend for life, but also their cherished independence, believing the blind need independence and self-reliance, not sympathy.
"No matter what you lose, your mind
Can overcome the problem.
One sees, one feels, one pulsates with the mind-
And of course, the mind is God.
This is my basic philosophy."
